Each contractor submitting a proposal is responsible for determining the appropriate staffing necessary and associated labor categories to perform the contract work. At the time of solicitation, the Government does not feel contract performance will require covered defense information to reside in or transmit through a contractor information system. As such, the measures of DFARS provision 252.204-7019 “Notice of NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment Requirements”, and clause 252.204-7020 “NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment Requirements” which require contractors at the time of award to have at least a Basic NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment, do not apply to this solicitation.

The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause.
