About this file
This document contains responses to questions from potential offerors on a solicitation for an electric cart parking area project at the St. Elizabeths West Campus in Washington D.C. The project involves demolishing existing pavement, excavating, grading, installing pervious and traditional concrete, electrical connections, constructing an overhead shelter, and landscaping. Vehicles to be parked and charged include Polaris GEM carts of various sizes, an EV Ranger, and standard golf carts. The document provides specifications, clarifies that ADA assessment and stormwater permitting will be the contractor's responsibility, and notes design documents are not as-built. It addresses logistical questions around staging areas, portable restrooms, parking and dumpster locations. The period of performance is 120 days from NTP with $175 in liquidated damages per day, and the pre-bid site visit is required by a specified date prior to proposals due.
