The Government is in receipt of the following contractor questions regarding Request for Proposal:

47PL0119R0019 FFB Small Projects

The table below provides the questions and Government responses:

# Contractor Questions & Government Reply

1 CONTRACTOR

QUESTION:

It was mentioned on the walk through but wanted to double check. The work in the stairwell can be done during regular business hours?

GOVERNMENT

REPLY:

Yes. Normal working hours.

2 CONTRACTOR

QUESTION:

Is level 5 really required?

GOVERNMENT

REPLY:

No. Project requires patching of existing holes and areas with drywall damage. No new texturing is required except for the immediate areas requiring repair. Wall surfaces as a whole only require new coats of paint.

3 CONTRACTOR

QUESTION:

Is level 5 really required? There was some discussion on the walk through.

What areas get what level? Are we matching texture in the hallway and doing level 5 in the lobby?

GOVERNMENT

REPLY:

See response to question #2.

4 CONTRACTOR

QUESTION:

FFB Main Entrance Lobby Reconfiguration:

1. Can the new outlet be surface mounted with surface conduit?

Yes. New surface mount wire molding is acceptable. No surface mounted metal conduit is acceptable.

7 CONTRACTOR

QUESTION:

FFB Main Entrance Lobby Reconfiguration:

“Provide and install Contracting Officer (CO) approved single new shelf under long leg of new counter top. New shelf shall be 10’’ off the floor and extend 48’’ long from the existing wall. Contractor shall ensure that there is at least 27’’ of height clearance and 40’’

Contractor Questions and Government Responses of width clearance below counter top to accommodate placement of existing TV monitor.”

Comment:

Please note that the top of the counter will be approx. 30” height (per item 2 – page 3). If the shelf is mounted 10” of the floor, and we are to allow for 27” height clearance above then the counter top would be at a minimum 37”, plus the thickness of the counter, which would exceeds the 30” and may not match the entry-feed dimension requirement . Please clarify dimensions.

GOVERNMENT

REPLY:

Researching, TBD. Response to this question is forthcoming.

8 CONTRACTOR

6. We would recommend another “T” section on the short portion of the pony wall to stabilize the wall since the door will be mounted on that side. Otherwise the wall will move with the constant operation of the door. Please confirm
