A: Offerors shall use the Attachment 1 GSA Region 7 Zone Master Schedule Pricing Sheet Solicitation 47PH0222R0003 Amendment PA03 version, as stated within the Standard Form (SF) 30 posted with Amendment PA03.
Q: The spreadsheet has the annual and the CAT5 in the same section, however, to match the calendar when it’s due is very difficult. Can we just give a CAT1 price per unit and a CAT5 per unit versus having to figure out which year they are in ?
A: Two different prices would be accepted, CAT 1 inspections are not as lengthy as compared to a CAT 5 inspection.
Q: The IUEC maintenance contractors we have worked with in other GSA regions have been able to work a full 8-hour day and complete an average of 5-7 CAT1’s per day and 2 CAT5s or CAT3s per day. We want to clarify and make sure your local organization is able to do this as well and does not have any restrictions they work under that will not allow an 8-hour day of work completing the standard amount of inspections listed above. This can impact cost greatly if your local IUEC does have any type of regulation or rule that does not allow for full days work and the opportunity to complete as many inspections on that day as possible based on the numbers provided above.
A: We follow the same guidelines as IUEC, pertaining to a structured 8 hour work day.
Q: Will you please provide an extension for the due date so we can put together pricing based on your response?
A: See Amendment PA04; the due date for proposals is extended from Monday, January 31, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. CT to Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. CT.
