RFQ 47PF0021Q0102 RFIs Amendment 0002

Q1: Due to the varying sizes and multiple locations, (ex. a 43-floor building and roof will take a couple of days) can it be worked out with the various building managers to perform the assessments and surveys in random order so as to permit the cost-effective approach?

A1: Yes. This will be discussed at the Kick-Off meeting once awarded but the Vendor and the GSA Property Management team will work out scheduling site visits as best served to GSA and the Prime Vendor, so no particular order of building surveys are mandated.

Q2: Is there an estimate of the number of on-site days required to conduct inspections at locations 4 and 8?

A2: The government does have an estimate for the number of hours required for these locations, however it is up to the vendor to provide us with a quote that reflects the number of hours they believe will be required for them to complete the surveys.

Q3: Can you confirm that inspectors are not required to be a certified fire protection engineer or certified safety professional?

A3: Please reference Amendment 0001, which was posted on April 8, 2021. Vendor qualifications are discussed in section E-4 of Attachment 20.

Q4: Can multiple small facilities be inspected on the same day if geographically feasible?

A4: This will be dependent upon the ability of the buildings to provide access. It can certainly be worked out as part of scheduling with the project team.
