About this file
This is Amendment 003 to solicitation 47PB0025R0007 for the LPOE Refresh project at the Orient, ME border station. The amendment extends the proposal due date from January 31, 2025 to February 3, 2025 at 5PM Eastern Time and incorporates responses to contractor questions as well as an asbestos report for the facility.
The amendment includes clarifications through Q&A regarding repointing requirements, building closure during construction (facility will be closed), completion deadline of September 1, 2025 due to funding constraints, and various technical specifications about materials and installation requirements. The included 2012 asbestos survey report identified asbestos-containing materials in gray sink coating (5-10% chrysotile) and brown pebbled sheet flooring/mastic (5-10% chrysotile) in certain areas of the facility. The amendment requires contractors to sign and return the SF30 form with their proposals.
