Subject: Asbestos Survey Update Building 464
Dear Scott, Stantec is pleased to have completed an update of the asbestos survey for Building 464. The original survey was conducted in conjunction with the Facility Wide Asbestos Surveys which were conducted in 2012-2013 and submitted to DMA on September 30, 2013. The update includes a review of any work conducted on the building contracted through Stantec and a review of any work done by DMA contracted to a third party.
The original report lists asbestos containing 9x9 floor tiles and mastic in the lounge. This is a patch. Other samples of the 9x9 floor tile were non-detect for asbestos.
Stantec has no record of 9 x 9 floor tile asbestos abatements in building 464.
This material has been abated. According to DMA DPW, the floors have been replaced including new subfloor and many sistered floor joists.
There is no known asbestos materials remaining in the building/
If you have any questions or comments regarding this update, please feel free to contact me by telephone at (804)-658-6021 or email john.davis@stantec.com.

Subject: Asbestos Survey Update Building 465
Dear Scott, Stantec is pleased to have completed an update of the asbestos survey for Building 465.
The original report lists asbestos containing 9x9 floor tile in room #1, window glazing putty in Room #2 and erroneously, sheetrock mud in the closet under the stairs. The lab report indicates the mud is negative for Asbestos.
Stantec has a record of 9x9 floor tile asbestos abatements in the bathrooms due to termites and wood rot from moisture intrusion
Stantec conducted a walk through the building and noted that DMA DPW replaced all the windows in the building. The window glazing putty has been removed. The 9x9 floor tile is still in place.
The original report is attached for reference. This project was completed under the terms and conditions of our existing contract with VDMA. If you have any questions or comments regarding this deliverable, please feel free to contact me by telephone at (804)-658- 6021 or email john.davis@stantec.com.
