The contract covers corrective and preventative maintenance for three specific instruments: a 6890N Gas Chromatograph/5973N Mass Selective Detector (2005), a 7890A Gas Chromatograph/5977B Mass Selective Detector (2016), and a 7890A Gas Chromatograph with Electron Capture Detector (2015).
Key service requirements include unlimited on-site corrective maintenance visits with a 3-business-day response time, one annual preventative maintenance visit per instrument, technical support with a 2-hour response time, and comprehensive reporting. The government will provide laboratory reagents, while the contractor must supply all consumables, tools, and equipment for maintenance. The procurement is currently in a sources sought/market research phase, potentially set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 811210, with a small business size standard of $34 million in annual receipts. The notional period of performance includes a base year plus one option year, though this is subject to change.
