About this file

This document is a Packaging Requirements form for a military contract (Purchase Instrument Number: FD20302600124-00, Version 1) specifying detailed packaging and marking standards for multiple items. The document mandates strict requirements for Wood Packaging Material (WPM), including that all wooden lumber, pallets, and containers must be constructed from debarked wood and heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade for 30 minutes, with certification by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee. The packaging instructions reference MIL-STD-2073-1 for military packaging and MIL-STD-129 for shipping and storage markings, with specific guidelines for shipping container marking that include additional requirements beyond standard military marking practices such as unit serial numbers and original equipment manufacturer details.

The document covers multiple line items (1560DTH2501E0FL, 1560007310544FL, and others) with varying packaging requirements, though most entries indicate "No Packaging Data Required". The form was generated by PRPS using Jasper Reports on 22 Aug 2025, with the packaging specialist from 406 SCMS/GULAA being Chartney, TJ, who signed the document on 19 AUG 2025. The primary focus is on ensuring standardized, safe, and compliant packaging methods for military logistics, with particular emphasis on preventing the spread of invasive species through wood packaging materials.
