About this file
This document is a purchase order (PO #041207) from the City of Sanford, Florida, for a Bermad 730-55 Pump for Site 10, issued to PSI Technologies Inc. The purchase order, dated March 19, 2025, is for a single pump priced at $38,000.00, with a delivery date of September 30, 2025, and payment terms of Net/30. The procurement is part of a larger single-source acquisition for water and wastewater infrastructure equipment under project WW1405, with a one-year contract term expiring on February 27, 2025.
The procurement is justified by PSI Technologies being the exclusive sales distributor for Wilo USA LLC, authorized to sell products, repair parts, maintenance services, and technical support for water and wastewater pumps and mixers. The single-source justification is supported by a letter from Wilo USA LLC confirming PSI Technologies as their sole distributor since October 1, 2018. The City of Sanford has followed Florida Statutes by publicly posting a Notice of Intent to Enter into a Single Source Purchase, allowing a seven-business-day period for potential alternative suppliers to demonstrate comparable capabilities. The purchase covers specialized equipment including KEEN Submersible Grinder Pumps, WILO Submersible Pumps, mixers, Bermad Hydraulic Control Valves, and related technical support.
