About this file
This document is a technical addendum for the Teel EST Rehabilitation and Legacy EST Residual Improvements project for the City of Frisco, Texas. The addendum, dated August 21, 2025, and prepared by Freese and Nichols, Inc., modifies the original contract documents by replacing several sections, including the Bid Form, Specifications 01 11 00 "Summary of Work", 01 29 01 "Measurement and Basis for Payment", and 11 81 29 "Facility Fall Protection". The addendum also adds Appendix D "Teel EST Larson Associates USA, Inc. Traffic Control Cabling Proposal" and replaces Appendix F "Legacy EST Cleanwater1 Proposal". Additionally, it replaces drawing sheets C-5, C-9, and DT-16.
The project involves rehabilitation of two elevated storage tanks, with comprehensive improvements including surface preparation and recoating, structural repairs, storm drain piping installation, active mixing system implementation, electrical upgrades, and residual control system integration. The technical addendum includes detailed specifications for work scope, measurement and payment methods, and fall protection requirements. The proposal from PSI Water Technologies for the Monoclor® Residual Control System is priced at $246,109.00, with payment terms of 20% on approved submittals, 70% on equipment shipment, and 10% at startup. The project involves multiple subcontractors, including Prime Controls for control systems, Larson Associates for traffic control cabling, and Cleanwater1 for the residual control system components.
