About this file

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) 2025/80843 issued by NATO for broadcast camera equipment and services for the NATO TV studio headquarters in Brussels. The project involves replacing existing studio cameras with new Sony HDC-3200/DF 4K/HD portable studio camera systems, including 5 camera heads, associated viewfinders, control units, network adapters, and a premium PTZ auto-framing camera. The scope of work encompasses equipment procurement, installation, cabling between the studio and Central Technical Area, system configuration, integration, and a one-day training session. The estimated project duration is 15 working days for a single technician, with potential timeline acceleration through additional personnel.

The total project is competitively bid with a detailed price schedule requiring unit pricing for specific camera components, accessories, training, and installation labor. The RFQ is restricted to firms from NATO's 32 participating countries, with bidders required to provide documentation on origin of supplies, key personnel, subcontractors, and past performance references. Warranty terms include a minimum 3-year coverage for parts and labor, with on-site service response within 24 hours of any malfunction. The technical specifications allow for equivalent solutions compatible with the existing Sony setup, which currently includes 5 Sony HXC-FB80 cameras and associated control equipment that will be relocated to a press briefing room.
