About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying document associated with McLean County Fiscal Court's Invitation for Bid for Environmental Database Review services in Kentucky. The certification pertains to a contract opportunity whereby McLean County seeks an environmental firm or environmental professional to conduct environmental database searches, review local and state records, and submit environmental database reports for approximately 20 residential properties participating in McLean County's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Home Buyout Program. No specific project timeline, response dates, bidder meetings, or contract term information is detailed within this certification document.

The certification document establishes compliance requirements regarding the use of federally appropriated funds in connection with the contract award. The undersigned certifies that no federal funds have been or will be paid to influence federal contract decisions, and affirms that any non-federally appropriated funds used for lobbying purposes will be disclosed on Standard Form-LLL. The contractor must include identical certification language in all subawards and require subrecipients to certify compliance. Violations of these certification requirements are subject to civil penalties between $10,000 and $100,000 per failure, and false statements are subject to administrative remedies under 31 U.S.C. Chapter 38.
