About this file
This document is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) from the City of Alpharetta, Georgia, soliciting bids for FY25 Police and Fire Fleet Replacement Vehicles. The procurement seeks to purchase a total of 24 vehicles, specifically: 7 GMC Canyon 4WD Elevation Trucks, 2 GMC Acadia AWD Elevation vehicles, 2 Chevrolet Equinox LT AWD vehicles, 5 Chevrolet Traverse LT AWD vehicles, and 8 Chevrolet Tahoe PPV 4WD 9C1 vehicles. The ITB was issued on September 18, 2025, with bids due by October 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and will be submitted exclusively through the Bonfire online platform. The City reserves the right to purchase vehicles from one or more dealers based on pricing, specification matching, and vehicle availability, with a preference for dealer stock but acceptance of build-to-order vehicles.
The bid requires detailed specifications for each vehicle type, including specific packages, mandatory features, and color preferences. Bidders must submit comprehensive documentation, including a cover letter, business information, contact details, and a timeline. Pricing will be submitted via a separate Schedule of Items (SOI) pricing sheet, and bidders must complete required forms such as IRS Form W-9 and Bidder's Disclosures and Certifications. An optional Local Vendor Preference application offers a 3% cost preference for qualifying local vendors. All vehicles must be delivered to Alpharetta Police Headquarters, with delivery coordinated through the Police Lieutenant of Technology and Logistics. The procurement process emphasizes strict communication guidelines, with all questions and interactions to be conducted through the Bonfire platform's Opportunity Q&A tab.
