About this file

This is a Technical Scoring Sheet for a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in response to a Request for Architectural Design Services issued by Cache County School District (CCSD) in Utah. The District is seeking qualified architectural firms and consultant teams to provide professional design services for a new Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility that will primarily support the District's CAPS (Career and Technical Education) program and related profession-based learning initiatives. The SOQ evaluation process utilizes a technical scoring methodology with nine scoreable criteria, each weighted according to importance and totaling 100 points possible.

The nine evaluation criteria are: Relevant K-12 CTE/CAPS profession-based learning experience (20 points), Qualifications and availability of proposed key personnel (15 points), Programming and stakeholder engagement approach (15 points), Project understanding and approach (10 points), Budget management and cost control approach (10 points), Demonstrated past budget performance and scope control (10 points), Consultant team coordination, BIM/REVIT, and quality control (10 points), Construction administration approach (5 points), and References and past performance (5 points). Cost proposal evaluation will be calculated using a competitive formula where the firm with the lowest proposed price receives 100 percent of the price points, with all other offerors receiving points based on the percentage difference between their price and the lowest price using the formula: Cost Points x (Lowest Proposed Price/Proposed Price).
