About this file
The document is an Exhibit B Unit Cost Schedule for a 2025-2030 Stormwater Maintenance & Repair Services contract, specifically focused on South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) specifications. The unit cost schedule provides an itemized list of potential job order items with estimated quantities for stormwater infrastructure work, including removal and disposal of existing structures like catch basins, drop inlets, manholes, and pavement. The document outlines detailed specifications for pipe culvert installations, structure bedding, sediment controls, and establishes guidelines for job order pricing, with provisions for negotiating costs for items not explicitly listed or for installations deeper than 6 feet.
The pricing structure indicates a maximum 0.0% increase, with unit prices serving as the basis for contract agreement. The schedule references SCDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction and includes supplemental technical specifications for pipe culverts, inlet structure filters, and stormwater management. Notably, the document specifies that mobilization costs have a minimum of $500 or 5% of the job order, negotiable up to 15%. The unit cost schedule is designed to provide a comprehensive framework for competitive proposal pricing, with flexibility for specific job order requirements and depth-based cost adjustments. All work is expected to comply with current SCDOT specifications and the SC DES Storm Water Management BMP Handbook.

| The following is an itemized, potential list of items that may be used in this Contract. The estimated quantities for these items are being provided to obtain competitive proposal pricing. The listed quantities are approximate estimates of a "typical" Job Order quantity, but actual quantities may vary and will be determined for each specific Job Order. The unit prices given on this document, along with the specified multipliers, shall become the basis for, and included in, the Contract agreement. | MAX | 0.0% | |||||||||||||
| Note: Unless noted otherwise on the plans or in the Special Provisions, the latest edition of the SCDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction shall be used as a guide for all materials and wormanship under this Contract. For reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE), the default specification is SCDOT Supplemental Technical Specification for Permanent Pipe Culverts, SC-M-714 (08/09). All pipe culvert unit costs shall include six inches of #57 Stone for pipe bedding, installation of new pipe, all joints wrapped sufficiently with filter fabric, proper connection to new structures, and proper backfill compaction in 6-inch lifts to the subgrade. All structure unit costs shall include six inches of #57 Stone for bedding. For all Inlet Structure Filters the default specification is SCDOT Supplemental Technical Specification for Inlet Structure Filters, SC-M-815-8 (04-11). Sediment Controls shall follow all current SCDOT Specifications and the SC DES Storm Water Management BMP Handbook. All items listed in the Unit Cost Schedule involving materials for or installation of storm drain systems will be for installation depths less than 6 feet; 6' deep or greater will be negotiated per Job Order. Any drainage maintenance activity not specifically listed in the Unit Cost Schedule will be negotiated per Job Order. | MODE | 0.0% | |||||||||||||
