About this file
This document outlines E-Rate Requirements for Grand Rapids Public Schools in Michigan, establishing compliance standards that vendors must meet to support the District's application for E-Rate discounts on specified equipment. The requirements apply to all Service Providers subject to oversight by the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) of the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC). Bidders must demonstrate familiarity with E-Rate program rules and regulations, confirm they do not hold "Red Light" status according to the FCC, and ensure all accommodations necessary for E-Rate eligibility and funding are incorporated into their proposals.
Bidders are required to include all costs associated with administrative work needed to maintain E-Rate eligibility or receive E-Rate discounts within their RFQ responses. In the event of an E-Rate audit, including Program Integrity Assurance (PIA) inquiries, bidders must respond within three days of inquiry to questions related to the proposal or associated billing. Vendors must provide their Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and execute the agreement by signature, acknowledging their understanding of and commitment to these E-Rate compliance obligations.
