About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the 60 MXS/MXMD (TMDE Flight) at Travis Air Force Base. The contracting requirement is for a single Kelvin Varley Voltage Divider, Part Number 720A, which is an authorized and required item on the unit's Calibration/Repair List (CA/CRL R14). The original equipment was sent to Fluke Corporation for repair in 2023 and is believed to have been lost by the 60 APS; a Report of Survey (ROS) found no individual liable, but the asset remains operationally necessary. The 720A divider provides voltage division accuracy within 0.1 part per million and is essential for calibrating the flight's five working standards, which verify weapons test sets including TS4485/ALM-288 Testers used for operational checkout of Travis AFB's mobility aircraft fleet chaff and flare countermeasure dispensers and handheld multimeters. This purchase would exhaust the unit's current Operations and Maintenance (O&M) budget, necessitating the Unfunded Requirement (UFR).

Delivery of the 720A Kelvin Varley Voltage Divider shall be made to 60 MXS/MXMD, Building 804, 360 Ragsdale Street, Travis AFB, California 94535-2546. The point of contact is TSgt Joshua A. Sweeney, reachable at 707-424-5873 or joshua.sweeney@us.af.mil. No specific delivery timeline, pricing terms, contract vehicle, or evaluation criteria are specified in this statement of work.

Statement of Work

For

60 MXS/MXMD (TMDE Flight)

Description: The 60MXS TMDE Flight requires a 720A Kelvin Varley Voltage Divider. This item is authorized and required on our CA/CRL R14. This item was an initial AFLCMC acquisition fielded to base level PMEL’s in 2020 with the purpose to support Digital Multimeters, Precision DC Sources/Calibrators, Thermocouple Simulators/Calibrators, other Precision DC Voltage Ratio-Dividers, Dial-A-Viders, Dekaviders, DC Voltage Standards/Calibrators, Differential Voltmeters, Null Detectors, Nanovoltmeters/Micro Ohmmeters, Multifunction/Meter, Calibrators, DC Reference Standards, Wideband Floating Differential/Signal Conditioning Amplifiers, Thermal True RMS Multimeters, and Digital Strain Indicators.

Our divider was sent out for repair in 2023 to the Fluke Corporation and is believed to have been lost by the 60 APS. An ROS has been completed finding no specific person liable of the asset a loss, nevertheless the calibration flight still needs this asset to perform maintenance, and our current authorized O&M would be exhausted on this single purchase driving the need for this UFR. 720A divides input voltage to within 0.1 part per million, which makes it suitable for calibration of the laboratory’s five working standards responsible verification of several weapons test sets including a large inventory of TS- 4485/ALM-288 Testers required for operational check-out of the Travis AFB’s mobility aircraft fleet chaff and flare countermeasure dispensers and handheld multimeters.
