About this file
This document is a Certificate of Compliance Notice issued by the Office of the County Auditor's Compliance Review Office for Jackson County, Missouri. The notice mandates that all vendors doing business with Jackson County must obtain a Certificate of Compliance prior to submitting any bid response, with failure to do so potentially resulting in bid rejection. Vendors must complete a Certificate of Compliance Application online at least five business days before the bid response deadline.
The Certificate of Compliance requires vendors to meet two key requirements: first, to be listed and assessed on Jackson County tax rolls without any tax delinquencies, and second, to attest to Chapter 6 of the Jackson County Code, which prohibits discriminatory practices and promotes Equal Employment Opportunity. Vendors can obtain additional information or submit questions by emailing cro@jacksongov.org or calling 816-881-3302. The document provides a specific web link for completing the Certificate of Compliance Application and emphasizes that timely submission is crucial to ensure processing.
