About this file

This is an award memo issued by the State of Utah Division of Purchasing and General Services regarding contract JH27-100 for Black Slough Aerial Phragmites Treatment (WRI 7955), conducted by the Division of Wildlife Resources. The project aims to manage and mitigate the proliferation of Phragmites australis (common reed) and other invasive wetland species to enhance ecological integrity of the designated area. No mandatory site visit was required for this Invitation for Bid (IFB). The contract is anticipated to result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor, with work required to be completed by or before September 30th, 2026. The award notification indicates that the intended awardee information is provided in accompanying award documentation available on the public site under Supporting Documentation.

The estimated project budget is $20,000.00, with vendors required to guarantee pricing through project completion. The awarded vendor must not begin work, purchase materials, or enter into subcontracts until both the recipient and the Division of Purchasing and General Services execute the contract or issue a Purchase Order. Receipt of this award notification does not constitute a binding contract; only an executed Purchase Order or signed contract creates contractual obligations. Vendors are advised that any protests of the award decision must be submitted to the Procurement Officer in writing within seven days of this notice issuance, clearly identifying the solicitation and detailing the nature of the protest.
