About this file
This Scope of Work document pertains to Alpine School District's pursuit of a centralized DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solution in Utah. Alpine School District seeks a three-year subscription for SOLIDserver 1170 software appliances with associated services and support as detailed in an accompanying Cost Sheet. The solution will provide authoritative internal name resolution across all District sites, support conditional forwarding and split-horizon configurations for external name resolution, and automatically assign tracked IP addresses to networked devices including workstations, student devices, servers, printers, and wireless access points. Bid submissions are due by Thursday, April 23rd, at 2:00 PM MST. The resulting contract will have an initial term of three years with an option to renew for an additional three years, extending to a maximum of six years total.
Alpine School District will be reconfigured effective July 1, 2027, into three separate districts: Lake Mountain, Aspen Peaks, and Timpanogos School Districts. The awarded vendor must honor the pricing provided to Alpine School District and allow any newly formed districts resulting from the reconfiguration the opportunity to enter into an agreement under the same terms, pricing, and contract duration. The District explicitly reserves the right to determine product equivalence and compatibility, and any brand specifications mentioned serve solely to establish minimum quality standards. Bid submissions that do not meet all requirements outlined in the IFB documents will be deemed invalid and will not be evaluated. The District is seeking best and final offers from responsive and responsible bidders.

Alpine School District DNS Management Software
ASD04232026SMM
Scope of Work The intent of this IFB is to provide Alpine School District with a centralized DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), and IPAM (IP Address Management) solution to manage network addressing services across all District sites. The DNS component will serve as the authoritative internal name resolution platform, enabling devices and systems to communicate by hostname, and supporting conditional forwarding and split-horizon configurations to support external name resolution. The DHCP component will be responsible for automatically assigning valid, tracked IP addresses to all networked devices — including staff workstations, student devices, servers, printers, and wireless access points.
We are seeking a 3-year subscription for SOLIDserver 1170 software appliances and associated services, and support that are listed on the Cost Sheet.
The contract resulting from this IFB will be for a period of three (3) years, with the option to renew for an additional three (3) years, for a total of six (6) years.
Alpine School District will be reconfigured, effective July 1, 2027, into three separate Districts, called Lake Mountain, Aspen Peaks, and Timpanogos School Districts. At the time of the reconfiguration, the awarded vendor shall honor the pricing provided to the District and allow any newly formed districts resulting from such dissolution or reconfiguration (“New Districts”) the opportunity to enter into an agreement with the awarded vendor under the same terms (including pricing) and for the same duration as are set forth in this contract.
Please give your best and final offer. Any mention of specific brands, equipment, part numbers, etc. is solely to establish minimum quality. Items other than specified must be equal to or superior to the provided specifications. Alpine School District reserves the right to be the sole determiner of product equivalence and compatibility. Bid submissions that do not meet the requirements as set forth in the IFB documents will be deemed invalid and will not be considered for evaluation. All bids are due by Thursday, April 23rd, at 2:00 pm MST.
