About this file

This is a bid tabulation form from Boulder County Building Services, a division of Public Works in Colorado, for drywall installation and finishing work on the 28th Street Community Hub project located at 2525 28th Street, Boulder, Colorado. The scope of work includes drywall (gypsum board) installation and finishing services, with metal stud framing excluded from the contractor's responsibilities. All necessary equipment, materials, and installation services must be provided by the contractor. The project is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026 and be completed by the end of 2026. The bid tabulation requests pricing for Item #1: Drywall & Drywall Finishing, Insulation and Sealants, with contractors required to provide both a cost in dollars and the duration in working days.

Contractors submitting bids may propose alternates on a separate page and may request substitutions for equipment or materials not listed in the specifications, provided the proposed products meet all quality and capacity requirements; certain materials designated as "Basis-of-Design" products cannot be substituted. The architect will respond to substitution requests within seven working days (Monday through Friday) of receipt, and Boulder County Public Works will release an addendum confirming acceptance or rejection. Both a payment bond and a performance bond, each equal to 100 percent of the proposed cost, are required for this project and must be included in the total proposed cost. Boulder County reserves the right to award the contract based on best value to the County, to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
