About this file

This document is an Addendum #1 for RFP 08-RFP-25 for Real Estate Brokerage Services issued by the City of Palm Bay, Florida, dated July 28, 2025. The addendum provides clarifications and responses to prospective proposers regarding a solicitation for real estate brokerage services. The City is seeking a broker to assist with surplus property transactions, with the specific number of properties to be determined by City Council approval. The document indicates that the City does not currently have an existing brokerage services provider and is seeking competitive proposals for this contract.

The addendum includes detailed information about the City's recent surplus property transactions, showing sales of residential and commercial properties between 2022-2024 with values ranging from $15,900 to $192,000. The properties are confirmed to be deeded to the City, and closings have been conducted using various title companies such as Supreme Title and Echelon Title Services. While the City utilizes cooperative contracts like Sourcewell and Omnia for other services, they have determined that a custom solicitation will best serve their unique needs for this specific real estate brokerage services contract. The proposal aims to establish a flexible framework for the City to dispose of surplus properties as deemed necessary by City Council.
