About this file

This is a pricing form for RFP #13-12-26 issued by the City of Temple, Texas, for parking lot resurfacing and striping services. The City seeks an annual contract to provide parking lot resurfacing and striping on an as-needed basis at various City facilities including municipal buildings, parks, libraries, fire stations, and athletic complexes. The scope of work encompasses multiple service line items with unit-based pricing structures.

The pricing form requires contractors to submit unit prices for five distinct service categories: parking lot resurfacing at a per-square-foot rate, standard-size parking stalls at a per-stall rate, ADA-compliant parking stalls with symbols and access aisles at a per-stall rate, directional arrows and stop bars at a per-unit rate, and additional standard line striping at a per-linear-foot rate. All additional fees must be clearly identified and submitted in writing at the time of proposal submission, with any items or charges not listed in the proposal excluded from contract consideration and reimbursement eligibility. The contract is subject to federal compliance requirements applicable to federally funded projects exceeding specified thresholds, including Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wage requirements for prime construction contracts exceeding $2,000, Equal Employment Opportunity provisions, debarment and suspension certifications, and compliance with the Clean Air Act and Federal Water Pollution Control Act for contracts exceeding $150,000.
