About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) is for a facility specification issued by Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) to lease warehouse space to replace an existing on-site government-owned warehouse. HMIS requires a subcontractor to provide 30,000-215,000 square feet of contiguous warehouse space on a single floor, with a minimum of 4 acres of laydown yard and 5,000 square feet of office space. The facility must have a minimum 20-foot ceiling height, loading docks, sprinkler system, and be located in a modern, high-quality building within a specific geographic area around the Hanford Site. Additional requirements include specific parking arrangements, facility amenities like a kitchen and restrooms, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for safety, accessibility, and environmental standards.

The solicitation specifies detailed technical requirements for the warehouse, including bay dimensions, column spacing, exterior lighting, fencing, and infrastructure capabilities such as HLAN access, proximity reader installation, and potential for electric vehicle charging. The subcontractor will be responsible for providing a fully serviced lease, ensuring employee training (specifically Hanford Site Orientation), and maintaining appropriate safety and quality assurance protocols. HMIS will require approvals from the DOE-HFO's Certified Realty Specialist and Contracting Officer before finalizing a Real Property Lease Agreement, with the ultimate goal of supporting the Hanford Site's environmental cleanup mission.
