About this file

This document is a Procurement Certification for Disclosure of Lobbying Activities from the State of Florida Department of Transportation, specifically addressing federal-aid contracts and compliance with 49CFR, Section 20.100 (b). The certification requires prospective participants to disclose and certify that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal agency officers, Congress members, or their employees in connection with federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements.

The document outlines strict requirements for transparency in lobbying activities, with significant financial penalties for non-compliance. Any participant who fails to file the required certification may be subject to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure. Furthermore, the certification mandates that the disclosure language must be included in all lower-tier subcontracts exceeding $100,000, with subrecipients required to certify and disclose accordingly. The form provides space for a consultant's name, signature, date, and title, but no specific contract details are completed in this template document.
