About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a federal solicitation to pave roads and repair water and stormwater utilities at Fort Bayard, New Mexico. The solicitation requires contractors to obtain all necessary construction permits and pay associated fees, and specifies that roadways are to be undercut 9 inches, scarified, and compacted to 95% before a 6-2-1 paving specification is installed. If rock is encountered within roadways at the specified depth, it may remain pending approval. The document confirms which construction drawing set constitutes the contract bid package, and extends the bid due date by one week to allow potential offerors to visit the site.
