The price schedule on page 3 solicitation is for a different project and includes a period of performance different than what is stated on the SF 1442. Please confirm project and period of performance.

Attachment A, para. C3, A, 1 defines a relevant project as “design and/construction completed in a clinical, hospital or other medical related use space for a site-prep project that involved radiation shielding in similar size and scope to this project.” This requirement appears to be from an unrelated project since the USP 800 project does not involve radiation shielding. Please confirm requirement for radiation shielding experience.
· Radiation Shielding is not a part of this project.
Will the VA allow the use of projects that are at least 75% complete to be utilized as past performance? This has been routinely allowed as the VA has not completed many design-build projects until recently.
· Past Performance must be on completed projects. It is not what the VA has done recently, but what the contractor has completed.
The current plan shows (4) touchless automatic doors but does not show the entrance to prep room as automatic. Would you like to include door into the prep room to be touchless as well bringing the total to five (5) automatic doors?

Will there be two (2) new stainless windows and frames between the prep room and the Haz Sterile room be requested. They are not identified on the current drawing.

Will existing millwork be reused or will new millwork be required?
· Existing millwork will be demolished and removed by general contractor. New millwork will be required.
The entrance into the future sterile storage shows a cased opening. Will a new case opening, or door be required for this area?
· Yes provide for a new casement opening. The information related will be provided after award.
The (A.3) Price Schedule included in the subject solicitation seems to be in error as it is referencing a correction of water filtration opportunity at VANTHCS, however, it pertains to a two- phase Design/Build procurement. Is the subject Solicitation (36C77621R0003) a two- phase Design/Build procurement?
· The project is a two-phased design/build procurement and is for USP 800 Pharmacy.
Under Section 00 11 21, Page 8, Section C3, Paragraph 2. “Phase I, Factor 2, Key Personnel” – Can the overall project manager and the construction manager be the same person? If so, can one resume with both titles b accepted?
· Yes, as long as the person meets both requirements of the discipline.
Would previously completed Past Performance Questionnaires be accepted in lieu of CPARS?
· Yes.
Have you established a site visit date for the project?
· Site visits will be conducted during Phase II of the requirement for the most highly qualified candidates.
The due date established is 23 November 2020, is that for Phase I documents only?
· Only Phase I is required.
Since the solicitation is a request for proposal (RFP) will you be providing content and format requirements for the proposal for Phase I and Phase II documents?
