About this file
This document contains a technical questions and response tracking sheet for the EHRM Infrastructure Demo - Phase I project at the Hines VA Medical Center in Hines, Illinois. The project involves demolishing infrastructure to prepare for new construction. Questions from contractors cover work hours, potential asbestos abatement needs, staging areas, specifications, phasing requirements, floor and ceiling types, electrical demolition requirements, freight elevator access distances, and the sheathing material used in the trayvator. Responses provide clarification on allowable work hours, attaching the asbestos survey, confirming no staging areas are identified but the VA will work with contractors to find a location, referring to the statement of work and drawings for other details, and answering questions about specific construction elements when possible.
