OCTOBER 2017 TO MAY 2018 HIGHLIGHTS
Level 1 – Satisfaction Out of the students who took courses during the reporting period, 315 participants completed the End of Course Evaluation after the training event. As shown, scores were greater than 4 on a scale of 1 to 5.
Level 2 – Pre/Post Tests This exhibit shows students improved learning scores in all 13 classes that collected data within MTM. This increase indicates that on average, students are returning to their jobs with more knowledge. Note, only scores for which pre-test and post-test were completed are being reported for data integrity purposes. Although additional students may have attended, or even completed the coursework, they have been excluded from these results.

A: OCT - MAY CLASS ANALYSIS REPORT
The graphic shows average learner satisfaction, rated on a 1-5 Likert scale (with 5 being the highest satisfaction). The first bar indicates students’ overall satisfaction with the current month’s learning events;
the subsequent bars indicate the learner satisfaction specific to each category evaluated. The blue bars display the government benchmark while the red bars display the class average scores, which can help gauge relative performance. Overall, students who take HR Development training leave more satisfied than those reported within the government-wide benchmark. The HR Development continues to outperform the government benchmark overall month after month.
Out of the seven (8) question categories, HR Development exceeded the government-wide benchmark in 7 of 8 during the months of Oct - May. The HR Development also surpassed the government benchmark in overall satisfaction.
The table below shows the End Of Course Evaluation average scores, submitted by 315 students in Oct - May, for the evaluation overall and each category compared to the previous month of March. The End Of Course Evaluation gathers feedback from students within 48 hours of their completing the class. During the months of Oct - May, HR Development training participants had an overall score of 4.57.

Questions by Category Each table below shows the number of evaluations and overall scores/responses for each question category represented on the End Of Course Evaluation form, followed by the scores/responses for each question. For scale-based questions, the charts to the right display the percentage of dissatisfied students in red, neutral students in yellow, and satisfied students in green. The next column shows the class average, which can be compared to the benchmark average in the last column. When the End Of Course Evaluation is broken out by the question, the HR Development fell short of the government benchmark on only 2 of the 15 questions. On average, 94% of students responded with a satisfactory response of 4 or greater on each question.

B: OCT - MAY LEVEL 2 PRE-TEST AND POST-TEST SUMMARY
The table below displays Level 2 Pre-Test and Post-Test scores for all classes held during the months of Oct - May. The percentage point change indicates students’ assessed knowledge change between the Pre- Test and Post-Test. Data highlighted in green indicates an increase in students’ assessed knowledge change between the Pre-Test and Post-Test. During the month of Oct - May, students improved learning scores in all 13 classes with an average percentage point increase of 11.45%. This increase indicates students are returning to their jobs with more knowledge.
C: OCT - MAY MULTI-LEVEL ANALYSIS
The table below displays Level 1 End Of Course Evaluation course score averages, by VISN and Class.
Green indicates the average was greater than 4% above the government benchmark; yellow indicates the average was within a 4% range of the benchmark; red indicates the average fell more than 4% below the government benchmark of 4.24.
This report shows totals and averages by Class and VISN. Note: not all participants are allocated to a VISN. This could be attributed to the student not being part of VHA and/or not interpreting their organization correctly. For total students in a class, look at the value on the row listing the class. By subtracting the VISN total from the Class total (e.g., 11 students in 201 Jump Start Assessment Mar 06, 2018, minus 10 students identifying their VISN, equals 1), you can see how many did not list a VISN for whichever reason (e.g., not part of VHA (could be VBA, OHRM), unknown, other).
