| Please confirm if the Superintendent can share duties as a QCM and SSHO for this project. |
| There is no requirement in this solicitation for a Superintendent, QCM or SSHO. |
2.
| What kind of ICRA is required for the construction area? Can the VA provide a drawing of the location and access to the work area? |
| The installation area is entirely within another construction site that is covered by an ICRA. No ICRA provisions need be supplied with this solicitation. Access will be through the north exterior door of Building 4, directly into the construction area. The installation area is in the basement. Use of the existing elevator is permitted. |

| Will there be drawings or specifications for this project? |
| No, all requirements are in the solicitation. |
4.
| Will all this work be able to be completed during normal business hours? What kind of notice do we need to give SPD for any outages? |
| Yes, all work during normal hours. SPD will not be utilizing this space during the install. No utility outages are expected to affect VA-occupied spaces. |
5.
| What kind of testing is required for the water after the project and tying in of system is complete? |
| Not all SPS equipment is installed in the space yet, but test ports have been installed on the recirculation loop. Once the critical water system is operational, testing at various points should be performed to assure the water is meeting the requirements of AAMI ST108. |

| With the different line items in the price schedule can this only be awarded as a complete project or can the VA award different line items? |
| This will be awarded as a complete contract will all line items included. |

| Will the VA be extending the RFI’s till after the site walk? |

| Currently it looks like the VA will be providing all the electrical requirements for this project. Is there any other electrical work that the contractor will need to supply? |

| Will lead time of materials will the schedule of installation 9/15/2025 to 11/15/25 be able to move? |
| Based on initial estimates, it’s not anticipated that material lead times will be an issue. However, after award if that changes, the installation period can be flexible. |
11.
| Is this project taking place inside another active construction area? Will we always have access during this project’s construction? |
| Yes. During working hours, the space will be available for access. Coordination of activities is required with the current construction contractor. |
12.
| May subcontractor past performance be used to satisfy the requirements for Technical Factor (b.) – Past Performance? |
| Yes. |
13.
| Will a bid bond be required? |
| NO |
14.
For Technical Factor (b.) – Past Performance, may offeror utilize CPARS/PPQs in lieu of a letter of recommendation?
Due to the specialized nature of the critical water system for healthcare, the letters of recommendation are being required.
