About this file
This is an amendment to a previous combined solicitation issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs to clarify contractor questions regarding a Mobile UV Disinfection Device procurement. The solicitation (36C26226Q1284) seeks seven units equivalent to the Xenex MXSUV1-FTXCT model as a total small business set-aside for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. The required package includes software licensing, upgraded safety assurance, reporting and archiving capabilities, factory replacement accessories, on-site service and training, refurbished-to-new replacement emitter exchange, portal usage, cloud-based storage, and discounted Surfacide repairs. The devices will be delivered FOB Destination with shipping costs included in the unit price. The solicitation specifies that only Original Equipment Manufacturers, authorized dealers, distributors, or resellers are acceptable; remanufactured or gray market items are prohibited.
Amendment 0001 addresses a single contractor inquiry regarding trade-in units, clarifying that the equipment being traded in is 10 years old, has no outstanding debt or service agreements, and is acceptable for trade-in credit. The contracting officer, Hestia Sim (Hestia.Sim@va.gov), will not accept additional questions beyond this point unless deemed in the Government's interest. Quotes are due on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM Pacific Time. The place of performance is the VA Prescott Healthcare System Warehouse, Building 165, in Prescott, Arizona. All other terms and conditions from the original solicitation remain unchanged.
