About this file

This document is an Amendment (SF 30) for Solicitation 36C26226Q0199 issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration for diesel generator preventative maintenance services. The solicitation covers maintenance for four newly installed Caterpillar 3512C generators, each rated at 1500 kW, located at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Key details include a pre-proposal site visit scheduled for December 29, 2023, from 12:00-1:00 PM PST, with potential offerors required to register by December 23, 2023. The amendment responds to industry questions about generator accessibility, load bank testing requirements, and maintenance expectations, clarifying that load bank testing is only required if monthly tests fail to meet 30% load per NFPA 110 standards. Offers are due by January 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM MST and must be submitted via email to the contract specialist Felicia Simpson, with all required documentation under Section E to ensure evaluation.
