B.2 STATEMENT OF WORK

1.0 Background

The purpose of this performance work statement is to provide medical cylinder gases for the Phoenix VA Healthcare System (PVAHCS), all outlying CBOCs throughout the Valley, and the newly added NEW OPC located at 32Street. This will be a supply type contract.

In accordance with Appendix A, Handbook 6500.6 Checklist blocks 7, the C&A requirements do not apply to this requirement, and Security Accreditation Package is not required.

The period of performance for this requirement was established in the past by a yearly task order against the internal IDIQ Delivery Order BPA, with yearly submissions as needed. This is no longer possible since the WSNC BPA has since expired, and no new award date is available.

We will continue our ongoing services as a Sole Source requirement due to the needs of the Hospital and Outlying CBOCs, to include the intricate demands and support required of this requirement to support the veteran’s needs at the medical facilities. This is an order that includes the initial Year and four (4) Option years to follow.
