About this file
This document outlines the requirements for a solar panel maintenance and repair contract for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Over the course of three years, the contract involves replacing 150 broken solar panels at medical campuses in North Hills, California and Los Angeles. The contractor must also provide semi-annual servicing for solar panels and trackers at these locations, including cleaning, inspections, torqueing terminals and fasteners, and filter replacement. Emergency repairs are not priced as they will be handled on an as-needed basis. Questions were asked and answered regarding the current state of inverters and warranties, responsibilities for parts, requirements for cleaning and repairs, module counts at each location, and details about site access and outlets.
