About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation 36C26126Q0795, addressing clarifications regarding medical courier services for the Veterans Affairs Sierra Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS). The document resolves twelve key inquiries submitted by potential contractors regarding service delivery requirements, scheduling, and operational specifications.
The responses confirm that services are required Monday through Friday only, with a single driver permitted to service multiple sites sequentially within specified time windows. Government-furnished coolers will be provided for specimen transport, and historical volume data is unavailable; contractors should use provided site addresses to estimate mileage for flat monthly pricing. Critical scheduling clarifications address three facilities: Winnemucca Clinic operates Mondays and Tuesdays only; East Campus requires pickups Monday-Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m.; and North Campus requires Monday-Friday service. The incumbent contractor is identified as Crosstown Courier. Additional clarifications confirm no transportation of supplies or remote maintenance equipment is required, no weekend service is needed, and VASNHCS has a single delivery address at 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, Nevada 89502. The document indicates that certain sections of the Performance Work Statement will be updated to reflect these clarifications, particularly regarding facility operating schedules and the correct VASNHCS delivery address.
