About this file

This is an Amendment to Solicitation document (Standard Form 30) for a flooring replacement project issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Sierra Pacific Network (VISN 21). The amendment extends the solicitation deadline to July 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM PDT and provides responses to multiple Requests for Information (RFIs) regarding the project. Key details include:

The solicitation (36C26125R0067) is for flooring replacement at two VA locations, with strict limitations that only Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) on the VISN 21 MACC Group 2 contract are eligible to bid. Critical project considerations include potential asbestos-containing material (ACM) testing, moisture testing for flooring adhesive compatibility, VA staff removing furniture/equipment prior to contractor access, and no simultaneous work at both locations. The VA will provide paint manufacturer details, allow elevator use for personnel and materials, and accept in-house project documentation photographs. Contractors must have separate individuals for Site Superintendent (SSHO) and Construction Quality Control (CQC) roles, with potential time extensions if ACM is discovered during pre-demolition testing.
