AMENDMENT NO. 0003
Solicitation 36C26119B0019 Project: 640‐19‐913 Building #7, Chiller #2, Air Cooled Water Chiller Replacement
General
The following changes, additions or deletions shall be made to the following Contract Documents.
All other conditions shall remain the same.
1. SPECIFICATIONS
a. N/A
2. DRAWINGS
a. N/A
3. OFFEROR QUESTION AND CLARIFICATION
a. Question: What will be the required warranty period for the new Chiller?
b. Response: One year from the date of install for contractor.
c. Question: The scope calls for a temporary Chiller and piping. If the change out is completed over a week end, will a temporary Chiller still be required?
d. Response: A Temporary chiller will still be required due to the nature of the patients housed in that building, Spinal Cord Injury and Polytrauma. These patients need to remain comfortable at all times, and the facility needs to ensure that happens.
e. Question: One part of the solicitation states the period of performance is 90 days.
Is it the government’s intension that this 90 days is from time of award and includes equipment manufacturing lead‐time? It is our assumption that this does not include lead‐time on the equipment and we base this upon typical industry standards being 12 to 18 weeks for a chiller of this size – unless contractors include costs for a rush on equipment manufacturing?
f. Response: Once submittals have been reviewed and approved, and the equipment has been received by the Contractor, the Contractor has 90 days to complete the install.
