About this file

This document is an Amendment (Standard Form 30) for Solicitation 36C26025Q0402 for VA Portland Fire Alarm Troubleshooting and Programming. The amendment provides 16 detailed questions and answers related to the solicitation, addressing system specifications, work hours, access procedures, and project scope. Key details include a 60-day period of performance from 5/1/25 to 6/30/25, 20 nodes on the existing fire alarm system, and specific guidance for working in an active hospital environment, such as requiring 48 hours notice for fire alarm testing and using a containment cart when accessing patient areas.

The amendment clarifies payment terms (Net 30, with potential partial invoicing), work hours (7:00 AM to 11:00 PM Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday-Sunday), and communication protocols, including working with the facility point of contact, John Carrier. The solicitation is for troubleshooting and programming the existing fire alarm system, with USB drives and program backups available on Fire Works. Contractors are advised that the requirement is priced as a firm fixed price, and any additional unforeseen work beyond the existing scope may require a mutually agreed upon modification.

A7. Yes, scheduled. Reference Amendment 0001.
