About this file

This document is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) for a VA Network Contracting Office electrophoresis testing procurement. The solicitation (36C26024Q0310) is for a Cost Per Test (CPT) contract covering electrophoresis equipment, consumables, and reagent kits across multiple Veteran Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) 17, 19, 20, 21, and 22. The amendment extends the solicitation response deadline to September 8th, 2025 at 12pm Pacific Time and provides answers to vendor questions.

The solicitation seeks vendors to provide equipment for performing three primary electrophoresis assays: Immunofixation Electrophoresis (IFE), Urine Protein Electrophoresis (UPEP), and Serum Protein Electrophoresis (SPEP). Total estimated annual testing volumes are 5,928 IFE, 2,698 UPEP, and 15,190 SPEP tests across seven VA medical facilities in Dallas, San Antonio, Temple, Denver, Portland, and San Francisco. Vendors are encouraged to offer multiple system types (capillary, fully automated gel, and semi-automated gel) to meet the testing requirements on a CPT basis, with facilities able to submit orders as needed.
