1. Are all stats dropped at BVAMC?

Govt Response: STATs are not delivered to the Boise lab. However, a STAT courier may be used to pickup samples from Boise to be delivered to other local hospitals.

1. Are times flexible?

Govt Response: The schedule is rigid in regard to scheduled pickups from CBOCs to be delivered to the BVAMC laboratory.

1. Will the couriers originate from CBOC’s or the main VA?

Govt Response: Samples originate from the CBOCS. Supplies would originate from BVAMC.

1. How many drivers are currently being used?

Govt Response: Please see requirements stated in the SOW.

1. Will this only be Lab’s? Or will there be mail and supplies also?

Govt Response: Mostly labs (supplies on Wednesdays).

1. Are coolers provided by contractor or VA?

Govt Response: VA

1. If contractor is providing coolers what sizes, and lengths will be required?

1. Will ice packs or dry ice be required? If so, how much?

Govt Response: Ice packs provided by the VA.

1. Will we be carrying narcotics?

Govt Response: Primarily midsize car. On occasion and based on government need, a mini-van sized vehicle may be required.

1. The SOW unscheduled/emergent trip quantities do not match the associated CLIN quantities – for example, "25 unscheduled pharmaceutical runs per month" or 300 per year, compared to the SOW 744 “EA” per year. Can you please confirm whether “EA” indicates a completed trip, or whether it refers to trip miles? If “EA” is a completed trip, can you please provide/confirm the actual total annual on-call/emergent trip volume per contract year for all hospital departments/locations combined?

Govt Response: EA is a completed round trip. Please see SOW. Please see Price Schedule for estimated quantities.

Govt Response: Two pages max per each response.

1. Do you accept CPARs evaluations as additional Past Performance information?

Govt Response: The government will not accept quoter’s CPARS.

1. Regarding specific employees’ information: It is common practice for small businesses that the drivers, cars and other equipment used for a contract are not sourced until after an award has been made, for cost effectiveness and to reduce loss. However, we will be forwarding our standard Training Certificates-Procedures for your reference, is this information acceptable?

Govt Response: Please submit the requirements outlined in Technical Subfactor One (1).

1. Regarding evaluation factors for the price Volume: we usually like to provide a “Pricing realism” cost break-down, to include SCA minimum per year, the number of drivers, hours and miles that are estimated to be required for performance, and other costs. Is it acceptable that we forward this Pricing Realism chart with our Price response?

Govt Response: This procurement is under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions and does not involve Price Realism. The govt will not accept any Price Realism documentation.
