36C26020Q0177; 692-20-115 VA Reuse CT Trailer Enhance Native RFI Responses

1. There was a section that states employees dealing with personally identifying documents must take a Privacy Training course and referenced the Office of Management and Budget Circular A-130. Could you give me some direction where I can find a course that is suitable to meet that standard? This will not be required for this project for this project.

2. Does every subcontracting company need to have at lease one person who has passed the 30 hr OSHA course? Do all other construction workers need to have the 10 hour OSHA course? This is a relatively small job and it is likely that some of the subs won't be on campus more than 10 or so hours. It would be great to get clarification as to who needs the OSHA course. The Superintendent needs a 30 hour OSHA certificate. The subs all need OSHA 10s. Additionally the competent person for each trade needs to have a 30 hour OSHA.

3. Please confirm that VA employees will make all utility connections to the trailer at the new location? Correct. Contractor to bring utilities to within 5’ of the trailer

4. What will the final elevation of the top of the footing at the new trailer location be? See attached elevations

5. What is to stay at the existing site? What is to be removed? Only the trailer and everything attached to the trailer minus utilities will be moved. Footings to remain

6. Do we need to disconnect a fire riser in the trailer at the existing location? Contractor responsible for disconnecting all utilities

7. Will the new crawl space access be on the side away from the dirt road? Yes

8. Detail SS101-2 shows the width of the footing to be 18 inches wide while detail SS101-4 scales that it is 30 Inches wide. Which is correct? 18”

9. Detail SS101-2 shows the stem wall width to be 8” while Detail SS101-4 scales it to be 18” wide. Which is correct? 8”

10. Are the existing base plates welded only on the outside perimeter of the building? Yes

11. Are the lifting points really sufficient for lifting the whole building? Yes. Everything in the trailer was there when it was brought in originally

12. Do the times allocated for Items I II and III run concurrently or in series? In series 98 days total if all options taken

13. Who pays the RVSS connection fee? The contractor

14. Who pays the RVSS system development charges? The contractor

15. Has RVSS approved the sewer plans? Not recently. All details for the sewer are from when the larger Yurt project was designed 10 years ago with RVSS approved details

16. Could you give the specific links for the required online classes for the Superintendent (30 hours) and the Subcontractors (10 hours)? Any OSHA certification program is acceptable. I don’t have any links as the VA has its own internal OSHA approved training program
