About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ 36C25926Q0712 addressing fuel tank remediation scheduling. The document clarifies Government policy regarding the consolidation of multiple fuel tank cleaning and polishing tasks identified during annual fuel testing.

According to the response, all remediation work identified for a given year will be consolidated into a single site visit rather than spread across multiple separate task orders or visits. While the work must be completed within one site visit, the Government permits contractors flexibility in scheduling, allowing work to be performed over multiple days if necessary. This approach streamlines logistics and reduces the number of mobilizations required for fuel tank maintenance activities.

Questions and Answers

RFQ 36C25926Q0712

Question 1: If annual fuel testing identifies that multiple fuel tanks require cleaning/polishing, will the Government schedule remediation for those tanks sporadically (i.e., as separate task orders/visits spread over time), or will remediation for multiple tanks be grouped into a single site visit?

Answer 1: All remediation for a given year will be scheduled into a single site visit. It does not need to be completed within the same day, as in, the contractor has the option to perform the work over multiple days.
