About this file

This is an Amendment to a Request for Quote (RFQ) and Questions and Answers document for a federal contract opportunity. The solicitation number is 36C25926Q0501, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 19) in Greenwood Village, Colorado, with a response deadline of July 27, 2026 at 3:00 PM Mountain Time. The requirement is for the replacement of 14 patient care BCMA (Barcode Medication Administration) medication carts at the Jack C. Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The Product Service Code is 6530, and the NAICS Code is 339112. This is a small business set-aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns (SDVOSBC).

The specification requires battery-operated medication carts with comprehensive features including 100% recharge capability in under three hours, integral AC power distribution with minimum six receptacles, electronic steer assist, ergonomic adjustable handles, motorized height adjustment for sit-to-stand functionality, anti-microbial touch surfaces, LCD VESA monitor mount with motorized height adjustment and quick-release adapter, lighted cup dispensers for multiple cup sizes, central control panel, slide-out keyboard tray with adjustable brightness, and a four-tier electronic locking storage cabinet with removable cassettes and adjustable lighting. The amendment clarifies two points from the original solicitation: a statement regarding boiler inspections on page 39 was a typographical error and should reference the requirement to demonstrate or state the ability to provide medication carts as stated in the Statement of Work, and the correct project location is Muskogee, Oklahoma, not Oklahoma City. The contracting officer is Peyton Wilkerson (Peyton.Wilkerson1@va.gov).

DESCRIPTION

Amendment to 36C25926Q0501 – Medication Carts Questions and Answers:

1. On page 39 of the document 36C25926Q0501, there is a statement regarding boiler inspections that does not seem to match the rest of the solicitation. Is it correct that this will not be part of the solicitation?

Correct, this was a typo. It was meant to read:

“Must Demonstrate or State the ability to provide medication carts, as stated in the SOW.”

2. After viewing the document on the project stated above, I noticed that in the general information it states that the project is in Oklahoma City, OK but in the statement of work it says that the project is located in Muskogee, OK. Can you clarify for me which location this project is?

The requirement is for Jack C. Montgomery VAMC in Muskogee, OK.
