About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers attachment for Request for Quote (RFQ) 36C25925Q0304 for Onsite Neuromonitoring Services at the Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The Q&A provides key operational details including case volume breakdowns from 2023-2025, which show approximately 180-212 spine cases, 6-12 brain cases, and 5-11 otolaryngologic cases annually. The neuromonitoring vendor will support four surgeons and be expected to handle a minimum of three concurrent cases, with historical data indicating two off-hours cases on both weekdays and weekends in the past 12 months.
The VA confirmed this is a new contract with no incumbent, and the number of full-time equivalents (FTEs) will vary based on scheduling needs, historically utilizing four VA providers to cover caseloads. Offerors are required to submit personnel resumes as part of their proposal package. The solicitation allows for a 30-day period between award and service commencement to complete VA-required credentialing and startup processes, with the proposal submission deadline referenced in blocks 8 of SF1449 or block 14 of SF30. The opportunity is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) within the physician services NAICS category.
