About this file

The government will not provide a centrifuge for the contractor's lab, but will specify the required centrifuge characteristics. The government will not provide women's health supplies such as Thin Prep Pap Test and Pap Smear Collection Kits, as the contractor is required to furnish all equipment and supplies necessary to provide women's health services. The government will provide the phone circuit for the clinic but will not supply the physical telephones, fax, or scanners - the contractor must provide compatible equipment. In the past 12 months, the Altus CBOC placed approximately 1,466 community care consults, and the contractor is responsible for paying for urgent/emergent medications filled at local pharmacies. The VA will provision a block of Direct Inward Dialing (DID) phone numbers for the clinic.
