1. Part A (SOW) second paragraph “There are existing isolation valves, located in proximity to each of the fin tube convectors. A operational and locational inspection by the Contractor during isolation of each fin tube convector would be considered beneficial to the VA. Please advise.

The contract shall include this cost in their bid.

1. Will there be any ICRA requirements for this project?

ICRA requirements will need to be implemented on this project.

1. Please confirm that the following statement from the SOW page 8 of 53, third paragraph from the bottom will be enforced: “Contractor Supervisor: A competent and experienced English-speaking Contractor Supervisor shall be provided by the Contractor whenever work is being performed” The contract will call for a Supervisor/Superintendent, who is OHSA-30 certified to be present whenever contractor or subcontractors are working. The CO and COR need to be able to communicate with the supervisor about the project throughout the entire POP. The Project manager can fill this requirement, as long as they will be onsite during all work.
