ANSWER: Refer to room Finish Schedule, AS100. Refer to DEMO Notes #1, AS100. Ensure, there will be no edges for patients to harm themselves.
1. Plan Page AS001 Infection Control notes #C says there will be 6 phases. However Temporary Measures notes refer to phases A – D and Project Work unassigned to any phase. Please clarify the 6 phases.

1. Conference room shows to remove 2 ceiling hatches. No new hatches are shown, confirm no new hatches are required, only repairs to drywall ceiling in this location.
ANSWER: Refer to AS200 reflected ceiling plan notes.
1. AS001 Infection control notes #2 says to provide a temporary barrier w/access control lock. This implies a drywall wall and solid doors, yet at the corridor/conf/nurse area note #4 says to install a plastic barrier. Clarify the purpose and intent of these barriers as the construction documents indicate the area is to remain open during construction activities. Are patients/nurses etc all going to be using this temporary wall/door?
ANSWER: Plastic Barrier in note #4 are to be placed on the inside of the conference and nurse station to prevent dust from entering.
The temporary barrier w/access control lock is to get prevent access to the windowed areas. If there are patients in the Ward at that time contractors will need to be ready to escort the nurse and the patient through the barriers. When work is being conducted in that area remove tools of concern and have tools in a cart with doors.
Note this is the only way to the nurse’s station in the Ward.
1. Can the patient room doors be used as construction barriers during construction in each room rather than install a temporary hard door at each area?
ANSWER: All but one room does not lock. To ensure access is limited temporary hard doors that are lockable are needed.
