The purpose of this amendment is as follows:
1. Provide responses to submitted questions below.
This amendment DOES NOT change the quote due date for this solicitation.
Q&A #2Virtual Pharmacy Services Q1. On Pages 8&9 the SOW States: “The contractor shall only use Government IT equipment for purposes specifically tied to or authorized by the contract and in accordance with NAVAHCS policy.”
This is a Virtual Pharmacy contract and I’m not sure what this is asking.
It seems to be a strange statement to make considering that the contractor's personnel won’t ever encounter Government IT equipment, as they are working remotely.
It almost contradicts Page 4, under B.2.1. INTRODUCTION where it states......"Contractor must be a U.S. based company capable of providing pharmacy services to be completed via a secure web based system provided by the contractor."
Can you please clarify this?
A. instead of Government IT equipment, change to “Government software” Q2. On Page 5, Under B.2.1 C. The SOW states: “Contractor shall provide and document a general orientation for all the contractor's pharmacists who provide work on this contract before commencement of work
a) Fire and safety policy and procedure
b) Infection control policy and procedure
c) Emergency preparedness /disaster policy and procedure It appears that this is not relevant to this contract except for the 3rd which is Emergency preparedness/disaster policy and procedure perhaps.
Please provide clarification as we will be working remotely.
A. None of these are relevant to this contract.
Q3. Page 8, A. "The contractor is required to provide a current performance evaluation (proficiency or competency) on each pharmacist providing services under the contract. The contractor will provide current copies of the performance evaluations at the time of contract award and annually.........."
Is it expected that the contractor requests such from each pharmacist from a previous job, or does it mean that an assessment of each pharmacist is to be done within a reasonable period of start up?
A. Contractor to provide initial 90-day assessment, and then yearly.
Q4. In a previous question, estimated quantities of scripts were requested. Can we get an expected volume of work prior to pricing of duties?
A. 20-30 nightly
Q5. The number of facilities isn’t mentioned in the RFQ. Research has shown such, but it should be clearly offered to better calculate the number of pharmacists required. Thank you.
A. (1) Facility
