Based on a previous Comprehensive Hazardous Materials Survey for VA San Diego dated

January 2015, asbestos-containing material (ACM) and lead based paint were determined to be present in some of the areas of the facility. Green and white ceramic walls were determined to have high level of lead-based paint. Proper regulations must be followed and implemented during construction to remove and to handle hazardous materials from the work area.
